Dr. Samanta Andisco, DMD

Dr. Andisco now lives in Bonita Springs with her amazing husband, two children and two golden doodle dogs. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to Fort Myers, Florida with her family at the age of 14. She graduated from Fort Myers High, where she obtained the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program Diploma. Dr. Andisco went on to the University of Central Florida, where she received a full athletic scholarship to play volleyball. She graduated from UCF with a BA degree in Biology in 2002. She then attended Nova Southeastern University, where she obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). She is fluent in both English and Spanish (Se Habla Español!)

Dr. Andisco got married while in Dental School to her amazing husband, who was also on scholarship at UCF for tennis. After graduating from Dental School, she moved with her husband back to Fort Myers. It was shortly after this that she first started practicing in Port Charlotte. She moved on to a larger group practice shortly after the birth of her daughter, Gabriella.

Dr. Andisco got involved early in occlusion study clubs and began taking several courses at the Dawson Academy. She has undertaken course training in Invisalign and has taken on many Invisalign cases over the years. She thoroughly enjoys improving a patient’s smile aesthetically as well as helping the patient overcome pains and headaches through occlusal corrections.

After having her second child, Maxton, she decided to work closer to home. She began working part-time in Bonita Springs and part-time in Marco Island. The Bonita Springs office was a transition into a pediatric environment. She was able to work closely with children and special needs kids. Having a special needs child herself, Dr. Andisco enjoyed this experience immensely. She found working with pediatrics to be very rewarding. She believes that by providing young children with positive dental experiences, we can help set them up for a lifetime of good oral health habits and minimize their fear of the dentist!

Over her career, she has sought out continuing education in the areas of cosmetic dentistry, sleep apnea, complex dental crown and bridge cases. When the opportunity presented itself to open SMILE Dental, Dr. Andisco felt extremely fortunate. She knows she can help achieve great dental care for patients of all ages.

Dr. Andisco's continuing education has included: occlusion, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, and sleep apnea.
